Integrative Dietitian
Non-diet, weight-inclusive nutrition care for eating disorders, disordered eating, and a healthier relationship with food. I combine clinical nutrition and psychology to help you move from rigid rules and food-related distress toward autonomy, confidence, and ease.
My path into this work is personal. I am a registered dietitian (RD) with a deep passion for helping people heal their relationships with food. During college, I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease, and the dietitian who guided me through that time showed me firsthand how powerful evidence-based nutrition care can be, not only in managing symptoms, but in restoring a sense of stability and wellbeing. That experience changed the course of my life and led me to dietetics.
My training bridges psychology and clinical nutrition. After earning my bachelor's degree in psychology at UCLA, I completed my master's degree in nutritional sciences at SDSU and my dietetic internship at UC San Diego Health. This combined training in psychology and clinical nutrition shapes my practice today: I take an integrative approach that addresses both the physiological and behavioral dimensions of eating, grounded in current research and individualized to each patient.
I have deep clinical expertise in eating disorder nutrition. Over the course of my career, I have developed clinical expertise in medical nutrition therapy for eating disorders, treating patients across every level of care: residential, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and outpatient. I work collaboratively within multidisciplinary treatment teams to support both medical stabilization and long-term recovery. My additional areas of specialty include Intuitive Eating, nutrition for mental health, fertility nutrition, and prenatal nutrition.
I use a weight-inclusive, non-diet framework. I help patients across all life stages develop a flexible, sustainable relationship with food. My goal is to help each person move from rigid rules and food-related distress toward autonomy, confidence, and ease. I am thrilled to support Create Wellbeing patients in optimizing their health through nourishing, sustainable, and mindful eating practices, pairing clinical rigor with genuine compassion at every step.
